I found CrossFit while training to re-enter the US Army. I was going to attempt to make it into the highly coveted ranks of the Special Forces and needed to get in shape. One of my close friends that I had served with was in Group and recommended I do CrossFit to prepare for Selection. Sadly my hearing loss from my first enlistment disqualified me from advancing.
There is NOTHING INHERENTLY DANGEROUS about CrossFit. The movements, the loading, the intensity, LITERALLY EVERY ASPECT of each workout can and will be tailored to YOUR ABILITIES.
